In the fall months,East Aurora HS National Honor Society collected care package items and money for postage to support our local deployed servicemembers.

FVTS Honored by Charlie Troop

On behalf of Fox Valley Troop Support, Sarah Giachino (FVTS co-chair) accepts the award from the IL National Guard Charlie Troop. FVTS sent letters and care packages to the members of Charlie Troop while deployed in Afghanistan.

FVTS Recognized by the IL Kane County Sheriff

Co Chairs Sarah Giachino and Kathy Tobusch were co recipients of the 2009 Kane County Roscoe Ebey Citizen of the Year Award. The annual award is presented to a Kane County citizen(s) who volunteer their efforts in the community.

Fox Valley Troop Support Armed Forces Day Care Package Event

Do you know someone deployed from the Fox Valley area? Here is how you can help!

Why not honor and support our local deployed service members on May 15, Armed Forces Day. Our nation is at war and our local Troops need to be assured that the folks back home unconditionally support them. Fox Valley Troop Support is a group of patriotic citizens whose mission is supporting our local troops with letters and care packages who are deployed around the globe. Tips for letter writing and suggested care package items are listed on our website www.fvts.org The Tri City area has always been very supportive of our deployed troops but donations in the busy spring and summer months have been low. Now more than ever they need to hear from you.
