'11 Holiday Care Package Event!
A huge thank you to everyone that turned out to make this year's Holiday Care Package Event such a success. With your help, over 400 packages were prepared for our soldiers!

SPC Fullmer of St. Charles was at City Hall where he received a Proclamation of Appreciation by St. Charles Mayor Don Dewitt and a coin of recognition from FVTS.
FVTS Welcomes SSG Chris Johnson!
Chris received a FVTS Challenge Coin from Chaplain Ken Carr USAF at the Batavia VFW and shared with volunteers how much care packages meant to him during his deployment.

Army SPC JP Reeves honored by Mayor Burns
SPC JP Reeves returned from his tour of duty in Afghanistan and is presented with a Proclamation of Appreciation and the official flag of Geneva on Monday August 23, 2010.
Rolling Thunder Supports FVTS
Rolling Thunder of Warrenville presented a very generous check to FVTS and helped prepare care packages at the 2010 Armed Forces Day care package event.

On behalf of FVTS, Sarah Giachino (FVTS co-chair) accepts the award from the IL National Guard Charlie Troop. FVTS sent letters and care packages to the members of Charlie Troop while they were deployed in Afghanistan.
